DOAG Konferenz 2018

For everyone involved with Oracle software, the CCN Ost in Nuremberg from November 20 to 23 is the Mecca par excellence: The European database world will meet again this year in Middle Franconia for the DOAG Conference and Exhibition 2018. Started as an event for the German-speaking countries, internationality and versatility are increasing year after year. This first-class conference of the German Oracle User Group (DOAG) with more than 2000 visitors competes every year with the UKOUG Conference in December for the unofficial title of the largest and best conference around the products of the software giant from Redwood Shores.

Besides highlights like Chris Saxxon, Randolf Geist, Mike Dietrich or Sean Stacey our Oracle ACE Director Martin Klier will be on stage in the big room “Tokyo” on Thursday. His lecture “Oracle Core: Database I/O” promises to be an entertaining and technically sound presentation of the mass storage operations of the Oracle database system.

The “PostgreSQL vs. Oracle” battle between Jan Karremans and Daniel Westermann or the “PowerPoint Karaoke” also stand out as “hot spots” from the agenda.
